This engagement session at the Lake Jocassee overlook was nothing short of breathtaking. Although it was a chilly, windy day, the clear blue skies and the scenic backdrop made it all worthwhile. The long drive to reach this secluded lookout was the perfect start to capturing the story of Foster and Emma Louise who didn’t let the cold stand in the way of their beautiful photos.

As we arrived at the overlook, the view of Lake Jocassee was just stunning. From the top, you could see the shimmering blue water below, framed by the vast natural landscape that stretched on endlessly. As the sun began to set, the golden light cast a magical glow across the lake, creating an unforgettable backdrop. Foster and Emma Louise wrapped each other tight and took in the beauty all around them as I captured the joy and excitement of this season in their lives.

After capturing the lake views, we found a pretty field nearby that offered a new setting for their session. The soft, open space of the field created a cozy and intimate atmosphere, adding a unique touch to the photos. Even with the chill in the air, this young couple’s warmth and laughter made the session feel comfortable and full of life.
