A wedding at The Golf Club at Briar’s Creek, South Carolina; this is a love story that spans ten years. Joey and Julie met as freshmen in college, and they cultivated their love over the years. It all added up to this day. Their marriage day.
Joey got ready with his friends and played an old school Nintendo. Julie got ready, surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones. Julie’s mom and sisters helped her get into her dress and she wore her future mother-in-laws earrings. Joey and Julie exchanged letters and gifts while getting ready, Joey bought Julie a bracelet and Julie bought Joey a tie. The day was accented by blue details sprinkled throughout the venue, and before the ceremony the couple shared a private first look under the Live Oak trees and a private Ketubah signing, as the spanish moss swayed above.
The ceremony took place facing the marsh, Jewish traditional circling, drinking from the kiddush cup, and breaking the glass. These special traditions were followed by a private moment at the dock.
The reception was a celebration. Speeches, dinner, and dancing. Hora and first dances. Music and lots of laughter filled the night.
Julie sang “Closing Time” to finish off the reception and they started their new life together, and these traditions and family will be a strong foundation to build a life.

Live oaks and spanish moss
swaying in time with heart beats
love palpable in the filtered rays
Kiddush cups and glass tossed
private moments a twinkling retreat
all adds up to the sweetest days
This is the moment
this is the beginning
this is our forever
