A Romantic Fall Wedding at Chattooga Belle Farm
If you’re dreaming of a mountain-view wedding with vineyard charm and a little bit of magic in the air, this fall wedding at Chattooga Belle Farm was exactly that. As a Greenville, SC wedding photographer, I get to witness some incredibly meaningful love stories — but Foster and Emma Louise’s day was one I’ll never forget.
From a secret spring marriage to a rainbow-filled first look with her dad, their October wedding was layered with joy, intention, and so much heart.

A College Love Story (With a Surprise Twist!)
Foster and Emma Louise met in college and dated for three years. Their original plan? Graduate in the spring and get married in October with all their friends and family there to celebrate.
But life had a sweet surprise in store.
Instead of waiting, they secretly tied the knot in May — just the two of them. When October rolled around, they still hosted their big wedding celebration at Chattooga Belle Farm… and surprised everyone by announcing that they were already married!

Mountain Airbnbs & Meaningful Details
The morning of the wedding started in two separate Airbnbs.
The girls stayed at an Airbnb perched up a mountain — and let’s just say getting up that driveway was an adventure in itself! But the setting was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere inside was calm and joyful as all the girls got ready.
One of the most meaningful details of the day was Emma Louise’s robe — delicately trimmed with pieces of her mother’s wedding dress. It was such a beautiful way to carry her mom with her into this new season.
Meanwhile, the guys kept things laid back. They hung out, played pool, and shared a celebratory shot together before heading to the venue. It was the perfect mix of fun and anticipation.

A Rainbow During the Sweetest First Look
Before the ceremony, Emma Louise shared a first look with her dad — and it was one of the most emotional moments of the day.
And right after, a rainbow appeared against the rain clouds in the distance. It felt like a little gift from God, perfectly timed for such a meaningful moment.
She also did a first look with her bridesmaids — and their reactions were priceless. They gasped, cheered, and couldn’t stop telling her how stunning she looked.

A Vineyard Ceremony with Fall Colors
The ceremony took place on the grass overlooking the vineyard at Chattooga Belle Farm. Though it had rained earlier in the day, the skies cleared just in time, leaving everything fresh and glowing.
In the distance, the trees were just beginning to turn with fall color — soft greens blending with hints of orange and gold.
Foster saw his bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle, and you could see the emotion written all over his face. Even though they had already exchanged vows privately in May, this moment — surrounded by their loved ones — was powerful.
They exchanged vows again, shared a kiss, and as they walked back down the aisle, guests tossed petals and cheered. It was celebratory in the most heartfelt way.

Running Through the Vineyard & Dancing the Night Away
After the ceremony, Foster and Emma Louise ran through the vineyard together — laughing, soaking it all in, and embracing that just-married (again!) feeling. Those moments always end up being some of my favorites as a wedding photographer: unposed, carefree, and full of genuine joy.
The reception was filled with sweet dances and meaningful speeches that had everyone tearing up and laughing within seconds of each other.
And then… the line dancing began.
Emma Louise LOVES line dancing — and it showed! The dance floor stayed packed all night as guests joined in. The energy was high, the boots were moving, and it was the most fun way to celebrate.

A Private Last Dance & Sparkler Exit
To end the evening, Foster and Emma Louise shared a private last dance — a quiet, intentional pause in the middle of such an exciting day. These moments are always so special, allowing couples to truly soak in everything before the night ends.
After that, guests lined up outside with sparklers glowing. The two of them ran through the tunnel of light, surrounded by cheers and celebration — the perfect ending to a day that was already overflowing with joy.
